Constraints can make you more creative. Having unlimited resources will not motivate you in finding quick solutions. If you have limited resources you have to find more creative solutions. Constraints will help you to think out of the box.
For example, you could constrain yourself by building some apparatus and only using materials you can get second hand, or on a garbage dump.
You could also make some new clothing design by reusing clothing from your grandmother closet. Another constraint is to only use organic materials, or only metals.
